Patent No. US 6,620,777 B2: Colgate-Palmolive Co., New York, NY, was awarded a patent for a stable fabric softening composition comprising a cationic softening compound, a non-confined fragrance oil and at least one fabric or skin-beneficial ingredient contained in microcapsules with a friable, aminoplast polymeric shell. The capsule components are free of any water-insoluble polymer or non-polymeric carrier material. l
